Baljeet was the only fucking sane character on this show I swear to god. Everyone was either batshit insane, playing god, an actual crackhead, way too teenager to be sane, or had an IQ less than 70.

baljeet once attempted to remove all the atmosphere from the earth, the entire atmosphere, in order to have an unobstructed view of space are you sure about that assessment

I stand firm in what I said. Killing off humanity for the sake of beauty and science? Admirable and logical.

I really hate social media honestly I dont use facebook or instagram but sometimes not using them makes me feel like I dont exist. as insane as that sounds like.Ā I’m completely disconnected from everyone except my close friends nobody from high school or college has any idea whatĀ I’m up to I literally could be dead they wouldn’t know. not that I really care about distant acquaintances knowing whatĀ I’m doing but sometimes I remember there’s this whole world of social media that I choose to not be a part of andĀ I’m like woah I don’t existĀ

honestly i have saved a lot of hassle by specifically requesting to be treated by female medical professionals whenever possible

to clarify

  • there are plenty of good (and mediocre, and lousy) medical professionals of any gender.Ā
  • institutional sexism is a bigĀ problem in healthcare. big problem. huge. also racism & other types of discrimination. women and minorities are statistically likely to receive worse care.
    • yes, female healthĀ professionals (like all women) are also capable of perpetuating sexism.
  • if you are perceived female, requesting that female professionals handle your care is a useful way to lower the odds that medical gender bias will get in the way of your treatment.Ā

andĀ here’s an article on how statisticallyĀ female doctors have better patient outcomes & lower mortality ratesĀ (no matter the gender of the patient). the patients with the highest mortality rates? women treated by male doctors.Ā one reason for this: female practitioners tend to spend more time listening to their patients, and are less likely to dismiss patient concerns.Ā

the final takeaway: whatever the gender,Ā find a doctor who listens.

please reblog this version so people don’t get defensiveĀ

me thinkin abt how perry the platypus is Often referred to as an egg laying mammal, even in his theme song:

Not to forget when Candace was in his body she was able to sweat milk.

considering everyone in the family was totally accepting of the fact he could lay an egg, everyone in the family thus is aware of and loves their trans platypus

There’s also a scene where a professional platypus hunter makes mention of the venomous spurs of the male platypus—as i recall, Doofenshmirtz is surprised, and questions Perry about it, only to get a shrug in response and no indication that Perry hasĀ spurs in the first place….Ā

y’all forgetting he’s also gay

the gay trans icon we need

I’ll never stop fucking reblogging this
