Don’t run after them; that’s playing to the cat’s strengths, and vigorous pursuit may cause them to hide. Instead, follow them at a brisk walking pace until they get tired and need to have a lie-down, at which point you can simply pick them up and take them home.

being a fan of the mcelroys is such a strange experience because the kind of content they create is so familial and casually intimate that like if I saw griffin on the street I’d probably just be like “hey dude what’s up” because my brain literally thinks of him more as a family friend than as a famous person
